Day, October 31, 2017 and for 500th Anniversary of
Reformation in 2017.

Project title: Series of
documentaries titled: "Rise
and Fall of Protestantism –Rise and Fall of Western Civilization"
Context
and aim: Based
on the voluminous
available material we would make about 30 - 40 short video broadcasts
that
would be uploaded to YouTube channel. This is a working plan for that
cycle of
video documentaries (click to image): 
This tract "Protestant Reformation - Civilizational Significance" is only the part of the content of the video serials "Rise and Fall of Protestantism – Rise and Fall of Western Civilization".
Through
above mentioned
series of documentaries we discover the spiritual nature of human
problems
including stress and depression, diseases as the result of
immoderateness, the
marital problems, conflicts among people and nations, the problems of
modern
education of children, etc. There is no sphere of human existence that
will not
be covered by the series "Rise and Fall of Protestantism − Rise and
Fall
of Western Civilization". Since we are going to explain the rise and
fall
of Western civilization through making the parallels between different
historical epochs − specifically the Middle Ages (century of
hypocrisy), Early
modern period (century of Reformation) and Late modern period (century
of
hedonism), we will be able to make the audience recognize their own
life
challenges, and, through the analysis of different historical epochs, to point out the necessity
of spiritual
experience as the only fundamental solution of human problems. To those
who see
the practical implementation of Christian ideals as a utopia, we
present
historical sources from the time of the Reformation as a proof that the
proper
Christian life in certain historical periods was the reality of the
Protestant
nations.
Therefore,
we need
financial help in order to make, in a professional manner, about thirty
short
videos for Reformation Day on October 31, 2017, when it will be the
jubilee of
five centuries of Reformation.
